( past continuous tense ) ကို ဘယ္လိုအေျခအေနမ်ိဳးမွာ သံုးတာလဲဆိုရင္ ...

ျပီးခဲ့တဲ့အတိတ္ရဲ့ အခ်ိန္ကာလတစ္ခုအတြင္းမွာ ျပဳလုပ္ေနတဲ့ လုပ္ေဆာင္ခ်က္ ( ဒါမွမဟုတ္ ) ျဖစ္ပ်က္ေနတဲ့ အျဖစ္အပ်က္  ကိိုေျပာခ်င္တဲ့အခါမွာ သံုးပါတယ္။

ဥပမာအေနနဲ႔ မေန႔က အျဖစ္အပ်က္ေလးတစ္ခု စဉ္းစားၾကည့္ရင္။

❀ မေန႔ကကြၽန္ေတာ္ TV မွာ ႐ုပ္႐ွင္ကားတစ္ကား ၾကည့္ခဲ့တယ္။ အဲဒ့ီ ႐ုပ္႐ွင္က ( ၇ ) နာရီမွာ စၿပီး ( ၉ ) နာရီမွာ ၿပီးတယ္။ ❀

အဲဒီ့ ( ၇ ) နာရီ နဲ႔ ( ၉ ) နာရီၾကားထဲမွာ ကြၽန္ေတာ္လုပ္ေဆာင္ေနတဲ့ လုပ္ေဆာင္ခ်က္ကို ေျပာခ်င္ရင္ ဒီ ( Past Continuous Tense ) ကိုသံုးရတာပါ။

အဲဒီေတာ့ ...
ဥပမာ။  ။

၁။ ကြၽန္ေတာ္ မေန႔ညေန ( ၇:၃၀ ) အခ်ိန္တုန္းက TV ၾကည့္ေနခဲ့တယ္။

1. I was watching TV at 7:30 pm yesterday.

( ၇:၃၀ ) ဆိုတာ သေဘာေျပာတာေနာ္ ...
ကြၽန္ေတာ္ မေန႔ညေန ( ၈ ) နာရီအခ်ိန္တုန္းက TV ၾကည့္ေနခဲ့တယ္ လို႔ေျပာခ်င္လည္း ရပါတယ္။

အဲလိုမွမဟုတ္ဘူး ... ကြၽန္ေတာ္ မေန႔ညေန ( ၇ ) နာရီကေန ( ၉ ) နာရီ အထိ TV ၾကည့္ေနခဲ့တယ္ လို႔ ေျပာခ်င္လည္း ရပါတယ္။

၂။ မေတာ္တဆျဖစ္ခဲ့တဲ့အခ်ိန္တုန္းက သူတို႔ ဘက္စ္ကား ေစာင့္ေနခဲ့ၾကတယ္။

မေတာ္တဆျဖစ္ခဲ့တ့ဲအခ်ိန္ကာလအတြင္းမွာ လုပ္ေဆာင္ေနတဲ့ လုပ္ေဆာင္ခ်က္ပါ။

ျမန္မာလိုေပါ့ေပါ့ပါးပါးေျပာရင္  မင္းဖုုန္းေခၚတုန္းက ငါအိပ္ေပ်ာ္ေနတာ ေပါ့
